Davenport, IA- A Federal Jury on Tuesday, September 26th, convicted a Davenport man for producing, distributing, and possessing child pornography.
According to court documents, 51-year-old David Michael Woods sexually abused two minor victims in his care and produced recordings of the abuse and other sexual images of the minor victims, which he sent to others.
47-year-old Jason Richard Heider of Moline, Illinois was also charged. In July of 2022, he pleaded guilty to the production and receipt of child pornography and admitted to his involvement in the abuse and production of child pornography of the minor victims.
United States Attorney Richard D. Westphal of the Southern District of Iowa made the announcement. The Davenport Police Department investigated the case.
