Muscatine Police: 3 men arrested following shooting investigation

Muscatine, IA-  The Muscatine Police Department has announced the arrests of 3 men following a shooting incident.

According to a news release, at about 2 PM Wednesday, October 11th, Muscatine police received a report of gunfire in the area of 408 Broadway Street.  Officers responded to the scene and located several witnesses.

Further investigation revealed that there were no injuries, but a residence in the area had been struck by gunfire. Muscatine police say the shooting appeared to be sparked by a disagreement between two parties that escalated into an exchange of gunfire.

One of the people involved, identified as 22-year-old Aaron Doe, was arrested and charged with Reckless use of a Firearm, Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, Control of a Firearm by a Felon, and Going Armed with Intent.

24-year-old Marc Castillo and 22-year-old Derek Underdahl were also arrested and charged with Reckless use of Firearm, Intimidation with Dangerous Weapons, Control of Firearm by felony, Going Armed with Intent, and Criminal Gang Participation.
