Burlington, IA- The Burlington Parks and Recreation Department has released an update on the Dankwardt Park Playground Project.
According to an online post, sidewalk connections from the playground area to the nearby large and small shelters have been poured. The underground electrical area for lighting has been started, and preparation for undersurface concrete and equipment footings has begun.
Additional grading for the playground area continues.
The Parks Department says that in order to complete the entire project, which includes sidewalk connections, parking, landscaping, and site amenities, $211,600 in additional funds are still needed.
