Burlington, IA- The Burlington Parks and Recreation Department has released an update on the Dankwardt Park Playground Project.
According to an online post, as of Friday, November 17th, the two main towers are up, with assembly continuing on the slides and accessories, and wheelchair accessible swing base has been installed.
Other site work is progressing, including drainage, light poles, and concrete.
The Parks and Recreation Department says that, in order to complete the entire project, $199,700 in additional funds are still needed.
