Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Fort Madison man following a traffic stop.
According to a news release, on Friday, January 5th, a Des Moines County Deputy stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at Vineyard Street and Belmont Court.
During the stop, deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, 51-year-old Rodney Lee Savage of Fort Madison was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 3rd offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rodney was transported to the Des Moines County Correctional Center.
