Burlington Police arrest man following search warrant

Burlington, IA-  The Burlington Police Department has announced the arrest of a man following the execution of a search warrant.

According to a news release, on Wednesday, January 10th, a search warrant was conducted at 1611 Market Street.

The target of the search warrant was Giovani Denario Timmons, who had an outstanding federal arrest warrant for Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance, namely: 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

During the execution of the search warrant, Timmons was taken into custody.

The Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force was assisted by the US Marshals, Burlington Police Department, Burlington Police K9 Unit, and the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office.
