Davenport Police: three individuals charged in homicide investigation

Davenport, IA-  The Davenport Police Department says that three individuals have been charged in a homicide investigation.

According to a news release, on Wednesday, February 7th, Davenport Police charged 34-year-old Devon B. Braet, 27-year-old, Adriana M. Blake (Prieto), and 49-year-old Mellisa Weber in relation to the investigation of a homicide in the 5200 block of division street.

Braet and Blake were previously arrested in unrelated charges and remain in custody.

Each has been charged with two counts of 1st Degree Murder, 2nd Degree Arson, two counts of Abuse of a Corpse, Going Armed with Intent, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, two counts of  Assault while Participating in a Felony Causing Serious Injury, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Weber was arrested on Wednesday, February 7th, and charged with 2nd Degree Arson, two counts of Abuse of a Corpse, and Accessory After the Fact.

The case remains under investigation, and no further information was released.
