Burlington, IA- Des Moines County Conservation is inviting residents to join them for a Shed Hunting Pop-Up Program.
According to a news release, the event will be held Friday, February 23rd, at Leopold Recreation Area from 1 PM to 2 PM.
Participants will explore the fascinating world of shed antlers and participate in a hike to search for these natural treasures.
Male deer shed their antlers every year, and now is the peak time to find them. This family-friendly event is open to participants of all ages, and no registration or fees are required.
