Iowa gas prices continue to increase

Des Moines, IA-  The average price of gasoline in Iowa has risen by 5 cents per gallon over the last week.

The Hawk Eye reports that, according to GasBuddy’s survey of over 2,000 Iowa gas stations, the average price of gasoline increased by 5.6 cents to $2.99 per gallon on Monday, February 26th.

Gas prices in Iowa on Monday were 22.3 cents higher than one month ago and 14.4 cents lower than one year ago.

The national average price of gas on Monday decreased 1.9 cents to $3.24 per gallon.
