Burlington and West Burlington collaborate to share fuel farm

Burlington, IA-  The cities of Burlington and West Burlington have announced a partnership aimed at optimizing municipal operations and enhancing service delivery to residents.

According to a news release, the City of Burlington has agreed to share its fuel farm with the City of West Burlington, marking a significant milestone in inter-city cooperation.

Recognizing the benefits of pooling resources and streamlining operations, both municipalities have embraced the opportunity to share infrastructure and resources. By leveraging the City of Burlington’s existing fuel farm, Burlington will realize further cost savings through increased purchasing power, and West Burlington will enjoy enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness in its fuel procurement and management processes.

This partnership underscores the commitment of both cities to deliver top-tier services while maximizing fiscal responsibility.
