Burlington, IA- The Burlington Parks and Recreation Department is continuing efforts for the completion of the entire Dankwardt Park Playground Project.
According to a news release, the playground equipment has been installed and much of the site work has been completed, and all work completed to date has been funded.
Final site amenities that remain uncompleted are integral site components; including benches, trash receptacles, bike racks, signage, landscaping, additional accessible parking, and sidewalk connections.
An additional $200,000 in funding is still needed in order to complete the entire project.
