Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Treasurer’s Office is reminding residents that second-half property tax payments are due by April 1st.
The Hawk Eye reports that payments can be made in person at the Treasurer’s office, or online at iowatreasurers.org.
Payments made by mail must be postmarked on or before April 1st. Payments may also be placed in the Dropbox outside the Des Moines County Courthouse.
Interest of 1.5% per month will be added to this payment starting on April 2nd.
