Burlington, IA- The City of Burlington has announced a partnership with the Des Moines County Humane Society to distribute free pet supplies to local residents.
According to a news release, the initiative was made possible through a donation from Chewy, a leading online retailer of pet products.
The partnership aims to support pet owners in the Burlington area by providing essential supplies.
Pet owners interested in receiving free pet supplies are encouraged to stop by the old Armory Building located at 2515 Summer Street (across from the Southeast Iowa Regional Airport) on Friday, April 19 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and on Saturday, April 20 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
All supplies are on a first-come first-served basis and quantities may be limited to one bag of pet food and one non-food item per pet.
