Burlington, IA- Des Moines County Conservation and Prairie Roots Landscaping are inviting residents to join them for an afternoon of learning about all things native at Hickory Bend Recreational Area on Saturday, May 11th.
According to a news release, County Conservation will be talking about pollinators, plants, and the ways that we can incorporate them into our yards and promote healthy ecosystems in the city.
The event will include a presentation, activities, and maybe even a complimentary monarch/pollinator garden starter kit.
Food and beverages will also be served.
