Burlington Police Department: Dankwardt Park Equipment damaged

Burlington, IA-  The Burlington Police Department says that the new equipment at Dankwardt Park has been damaged.

According to a news release, on Sunday, June 16th, Burlington Police Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief at the new Dankwardt Park playground.

Officers arrived and discovered significant damage to the new equipment. The incident remains under investigation by the Burlington Police Department.

Burlington City Parks Director Eric Tysland told the Hawk Eye that the city is working with the company that sold the playground equipment to get quotes for replacement parts.
