Burlington, IA- The Burlington Public Works Department has announced a brief road closure.
According to a news release, on Thursday, June 27th, from 8 AM until 2 PM, 4th and 5th Street will be closed at the railroad tracks between Division and Valley Streets.
The closure is to allow BNSF crews to perform maintenance on the railroad signal system.
Maintenance will also be ongoing at the railroad track crossings at Valley Street and Main Street, however, these locations will remain open to traffic but will be controlled by flagger crews.
