Greater Burlington Convention and Visitors Bureau announces Destination Greater Burlington Grant

Burlington, IA-  The Greater Burlington Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced the launch of the Destination Greater Burlington grant.

According to a news release, starting in 2025, this new grant will award up to $25,000 to projects and events that significantly promote tourism or enhance the tourism experience in the Greater Burlington area.

The Destination Greater Burlington grant replaces the previous Grow your Event grant, reflecting the CVB’s commitment to fostering innovative and impactful tourism initiatives.

The Destination Greater Burlington grant is designed to support a wide range of projects, from large-scale events that attract visitors from outside the region, to smaller community-focused initiatives that enhance the overall visitor experience.

Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, event planners, community groups, and Greater Burlington residents with a vision for promoting tourism in Greater Burlington.

The grant seeks to fund initiatives that will drive visitor traffic, increase overnight stays, and contribute to the local economy.
