Davenport, IA- Authorities in Davenport are investigating after one person was killed in a shooting incident.
According to a news release, at about 12:24 AM Saturday, August 24th, Davenport Police, Fire, and Medic EMS responded to the parking lot in the 100 block of West River Drive in reference to a report of shots fired with a victim.
Upon arrival, responding officers located an adult male, later identified as 23-year-old Mason Payne of Moline Illinois, with apparent gunshot wounds that had succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities say the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
No further information was released.
