Burlington, IA- The City of Burlington is reminding residents that Labor Day is a holiday for city solid waste crews.
According to a news release, trash from Monday’s route will be collected on Tuesday, September 3rd.
Other routes are on their normal schedule, but crews may come earlier or later in the day than usual.
Residents are reminded to have their trash set out by 7 AM.
Area Recyclers will be closed for the holiday, but curbside recycling is not in Burlington the week of Labor Day.
