Davenport, IA- The Davenport Police Department has announced an arrest in connection with a homicide investigation.
According to a news release, at 12:24 AM Saturday, August 24th, authorities were dispatched to a parking lot in the 100 block of West River Drive in reference to a report of shots fired with a victim.
Upon arrival, officers located 23-year-old Mayson Payne of Moline, Illinois, who had succumbed to his injuries.
On Monday, August 26th, 19-year-old Jonathan Terrones of East Moline, Illinois was arrested in East Moline and charged with 1st Degree Murder in the case.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
