Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Treasurer’s Office is reminding residents that first-half property tax payments are due by Monday, September 30th.
The Hawk Eye reports that payments may be made in person at the Treasurer’s Office, deposited in the Des Moines County Dropbox outside the courthouse by 4:30 PM on September 30th, or online at iowatreasurers.org until 11:59 PM on September 30th.
Payments being made by mail must be postmarked on or before September 30th.
Interest of 1.5% per month will be added to this payment starting on October 1st.
