New London, IA- Authorities say one person died, and another was injured in a single-vehicle accident in New London.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, at about 11:44 PM Friday, September 27th, a pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old going eastbound on Cleveland Street, took an abrupt turn down Adams Street, resulting in two unrestrained passengers being thrown from the bed of the truck.
16-year-old Gavin Browning of New London was pronounced dead as a result of the accident, while 16-year-old Graden Weber was injured and taken to Southeast Iowa Regional Health Center by Henry County EMS.
