Burlington, IA- The Burlington Police Department has announced the arrest of a man on multiple charges.
According to a news release, at about 8:30 AM Friday, October 18th, Detectives with the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force located Michael Lease at 4th and Jefferson Streets.
Lease was arrested on Des Moines County warrants for 2 counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine over 5 grams, Delivery of a Controlled Substance-pharmaceuticals, and 2 counts of drug tax stamp violation.
Officers from the task force conducted a search warrant at a residence at 1003 South 13th Street and located further evidence charging Lease with Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd offense.
