The Lee County Leadership Committee is seeking project proposals from local nonprofit organizations aimed at fostering positive change within the county. Two selected projects will be implemented by the 2025 Lee County Leadership Class, with an 8 to 10 week timeframe for completion. Proposals should be clear, actionable, and achievable.
The program, a collaboration between local chambers of commerce, Lee County Economic Development, and ISU Extension, trains participants in leadership and community engagement. Nine participants are currently enrolled, with sessions running through May 2025.
Work on the selected projects is planned to begin in February, and proposals are due by January 15, 2025. For details or applications, contact the Fort Madison Area Chamber of Commerce at 319-372-5471 or chamber@fortmadison.com.
