Southeastern Community College will host a dedication and open house for the Rev. Dr. William Amos Smith Sr. Activity Center on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 4:30 p.m. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the new FEMA saferoom/multi-purpose building, with tours available for attendees to explore its role in supporting students and the community.
Following the dedication, guests are invited to SCC’s annual Black History Banquet at 5:30 p.m. in the Blackhawk Rec Center.
