The assistance is aimed at residents facing rising electricity costs, especially during this summer’s high heat and increased usage. So far this year, Ameren Illinois has delivered nearly $58 million in utility aid and is adding another $4 million to help struggling households.
Income-qualified residents are encouraged to act quickly before funds run out. Applications are available by calling 833-711-0374 or visiting HelpIllinoisFamilies.com. Additional energy efficiency programs and long-term bill relief options are also available through AmerenIllinois.com/PathToSavings.
