The Relay For Life of North Lee County returns September 19 at the Fort Madison High School track, beginning at 5 p.m. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the signature fundraising event, which has raised over $1.5 million for the American Cancer Society. The evening will feature live music and entertainment, team activities, and a free-will donation dinner provided by local businesses. A recognition ceremony will begin at 7, followed by the Luminaria Ceremony at 8, when the track will be lit with bags purchased in memory or honor of loved ones.
