The Des Moines County Humane Society’s 7th annual Car Show takes place Saturday, September 20 at Community Park in West Burlington. Vehicle and motorcycle registration runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with the Show & Shine from 11:30 to 1:30 and awards announced at 2 p.m. Registration is $15 per entry, with awards going to the Top 15 vehicles and several additional categories. Admission is free to the public.
The event includes food trucks, a 50/50 raffle, adoptable dogs and cats, and a silent auction. There’s also a K9 demonstration (pending availability), live music, and a chance to vote for People’s Choice and other awards.
All proceeds benefit the Des Moines County Humane Society’s ongoing animal care and adoption efforts, with more info available on their Facebook page.
