The Fort Madison Area Chamber of Commerce will host a mayoral candidate forum on Thursday, October 16, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, located at 811 Avenue E.
Confirmed candidates include former city clerk Melinda Blind, former council member and county supervisor Tom Schulz, resident Rodney Hoskins, and 18-year-old Fort Madison High School senior Roy Woodsmall.
Each candidate will give brief remarks and answer questions submitted in advance by the public. Submissions are open through October 13 at tinyurl.com/fmforum2025 and must apply to all candidates.
