Western Smokehouse Partners has been named the 2025 Manufacturer of the Year by the Greater Burlington Partnership, recognized for fueling job growth and reinvestment in the region.
Since opening its 100,000-square-foot facility in Burlington in 2023, the company has helped transform the former Dresser Rand site into a major employer and economic driver. A new $15–$18 million expansion will add 100 jobs and boost production capacity by 30%, bringing the plant’s total workforce to over 300.
Local economic development leaders say the company’s rapid growth is creating ripple effects across the region, benefiting contractors, suppliers, and families, and that they see the continued expansion as a sign that Burlington is positioned for long-term manufacturing investment.
