
Burlington, IA- The Burlington Police Department has announced the arrest of a man on multiple charges.
According to a news release, at about 12:38 AM Wednesday, October 29th, High Risk Unit officers and Burlington Police Officers conducted a probation check/home visit on Anthony Selters in the 1600 block of Lincoln Street, due to HRU Officers having information about a missing person being at the residence.
Upon arrival, officers observed what was believed to be methamphetamine making materials, and task force detectives were called to assist in the investigation.
A search warrant was executed and methamphetamine, along with manufacturing materials were seized.
Selters was arrested and charged with Probation Violation, Manufacturing/Delivery of Methamphetamine Over 5 Grams, Failure to Afix a Drug Tax Stamp, and Possession of Precursors-Lithium.
