Keokuk, IA- Insight Health Systems has issued an update on efforts to reopen the Keokuk Hospital.
TV Station KHQA reports that Insight says they remain committed to re-opening the hospital with a 24/7 emergency department.
Officials say they are seeking capital funding to make necessary improvements to the building, as well as staffing.
Insight says they do not have a specific timeline to reopen the hospital.
