The 54th annual Christmas Craft Show inside Memorial Auditorium this past weekend was a bustling marketplace with several vendors from across southeast Iowa and Illinois. Shoppers like Carthage, Illinois, residents Taelin Johnson, 7, her friend, Tesla Shelby, 8, along with Taelin’s mother, Barb Krueger, braved Saturday’s cold weather to attend the event and check out the merchandise. The girls stopped at one table to peruse colorful Disney wallets, purses and backpacks, festooned with Eeyore, Cinderella, Pluto, Snow White and other familiar characters, before moving on to handmade soaps.
