Lee County Sheriff’s Office K9 Lemo received a bullet and stab protected vest on Wednesday. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the armor was donated by non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. The organization has provided over 6,225 vests to K9s nationwide. Lemo’s vest was sponsored by Bryan and Susan Jones, of Christiana, Tennessee. It’s embroidered with the phrase “Honoring those who served and sacrificed.”
