A West Burlington woman is facing drug charges after police found her in possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop. Lynett Elizabeth Sollars, 39, of West Burlington is charged with driving under suspension and possession of a controlled substance, On Dec. 10., Des Moines County deputies said they stopped a car at Amelia Street and Gunnison Street. Deputies said they checked Sollars’s drivers license and found out that it was suspended. During the traffic stop, a K-9 deputy conducted an open-air sniff around the vehicle, deputies said. The K-9 alerted to the odor of narcotics. Sollars’s was placed under arrest and taken into custody.
