Des Moines County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 25900 205th Ave. for a burglary discovered. Deputies observed that forced entry was made to an overhead garage door to a building. It appeared that a vehicle was used to ram the door. The owner advised several hand tools and power tools were stolen from the building. Deputies were able to identify a suspect vehicle through video surveillance. The occupants were identified as Shane Proctor, age 50, of Peoria, IL and Laura Beard, age 45, of Galesburg, IL. Both were placed under arrest and transported to the Des Moines County Correctional Center.
