A Fort Madison man has been sentenced to 60 years in prison after he pled guilty last month to attempted murder, sexual abuse, and burglary charges. 45-year-old Kristopher Robin Murie broke into a victim’s home in April of last year armed with a weapon and assaulted and tried to kill them. He will be eligible for parole in 22 and a half years and must register as a sex offender.
