Louisa County has settled a lawsuit with the family involved in a 2023 zipline fall at a county owned-and-operated education center.
The victim of that fall, Jason Massey, fell at the Langwood Education Center. Massey, his wife, and their four children will receive a total payment of $625,000 in return for ending all legal action against the county. As part of the terms of the agreement, neither party admits fault.
