Family and first responders testified during the second day of the trial against 50-year-old Tisha Bounds of Burlington, accused of stabbing her cousin, 33-year-old Derius Lashaun Moore, last March at an Angular Street apartment. Juror’s heard from another cousin, Maurice Bell, who lived at an apartment nearby and actually got into a fight with the victim shortly after he was stabbed, but that fight was short-lived after Bell became aware of the stabbing. Other family members testified that they hear Bounds vow to kill Moore in the days and hours leading up to the stabbing. Testimony on Wednesday revealed the stabbing allegedly happened over a housing dispute. The trial continues today in Des Moines County Court.
