It took four hours of deliberation for a Des Moines County jury to deliver a guilty verdict in the murder case against a Burlington woman accused of stabbing her cousin to death last year. The Hawk Eye reports that 50-year-old Tisha Bounds was found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of 33-year-old Darius Lashaun Moore. Four days of witness testimony ended with closing arguments Wednesday morning. Witnesses testified that Bounds had gotten into a fight with Moore over housing when the stabbing occurred.
