A Niota, Illinois man was arrested earlier this week after allegedly driving the wrong way on Highway 34 in Henry County on Sunday.
Sheriff Rich McNamee says they got that call just after 2 in the morning on Sunday regarding an SUV driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of the highway.
54-year-old Chad Hohenthaner was arrested and charged with driving on the wrong side of the highway, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and having an open container of alcohol in the car. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.
