Officials at the USG plant in Sperry have announced the recipient of this year’s Community Foundation Grant.
The $5,000 grant is going to the Southeast Iowa Resource Center, a regional nonprofit that supports communities across Southeast Iowa.
The Southeast Iowa Resource Center, based in West Burlington, serves Des Moines, Lee, and Henry Counties. The organization coordinates resources and distributes donations such as clothing and household goods to local community groups and individual families.
The group also helps connect residents with essential services and support, working to strengthen communities and assist families in need throughout the region.
