An Iowan is among the six US troops killed over the weekend in the Middle East. 21-year-old Sgt. Declan Coady of West Des Moines was killed when a Kuwaiti military facility was struck on Saturday after Iran attacked key American allies in the gulf region. All six soldiers killed were assigned to an Army Reserve unit based in Des Moines.
