Iowa is being recognized as one of the best states in the country for doctors.
A new report from WalletHub ranks Iowa as the ninth-best state for physicians, based on factors like hospitals per capita, insurance coverage rates, and projected physician demand through 2032.
The report also places Iowa in the top five nationally for average physician salary.
According to the rankings, Montana and Indiana take the top two spots, while New York and New Jersey rank at the bottom.
