Two people are dead following a single-vehicle crash Saturday night near Wever.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash was reported at 9:31 p.m. in the 1600 block of Green Bay Road.
Authorities say the vehicle was traveling northbound when it crossed the centerline, entered a ditch, struck an embankment, and overturned before coming to rest at a field entrance.
The victims, a 61-year-old from Fort Madison, Iowa and a 50-year-old from Wever, were pronounced dead. Their names have not yet been released.
