Vice President J.D. Vance was scheduled to appear this Thursday on the Iowa State University campus for a Turning Point U-S-A event, but it’s being rescheduled for the fall semester. The group says Vance must stay in Washington this week for critical congressional votes that have been unexpectedly scheduled. Vance, as Vice President, can break tie votes in the U.S. Senate. Vance will still appear at a fundraiser for Congressman Zach Nunn, but that’s now rescheduled for next Tuesday.
