Todd Tedrow was officially sworn in as Macomb’s new police chief during Monday night’s City Council meeting. WGEM-TV reports that Tedrow has been serving as interim chief since October 2025 after the retirement of Jeff Hamer. Macomb officials said Tedrow has since provided steady leadership for the Macomb Police Department. Tedrow has held several positions at the department for nearly 17 years, including patrol supervision, criminal investigations, strategic response team commander, range officer, field training officer and a K-9 Handler.
