Yesterday at approximately 11:55am, the Burlington Fire Department was dispatched for a fully involved warehouse located at 2101 West Burlington Ave. in Burlington. Burlington Fire Department was assisted by West Burlington Fire Department, Burlington Police Department, West Burlington Police Department, DESCOM, Alliant energy and Gas, Burlington Waterworks, Iowa DNR, Mediapolis Fire Department, Danville Fire Department, UNIVAR, Des Moines County Emergency Management, and Henry County Emergency Management. Twenty-nine fire personnel responded to the incident. No injuries to civilians or fire fighters were reported as a result of this fire. The fire was brought under control at 1:30pm. The cause of the fire has been determined to be accidental.
