The Field of Dreams Movie Site announced a partnership with the Northwoods League, bringing a permanent tenant baseball team to the Field of Dreams Ballpark beginning with the 2027 season. KCRG-TV reports that The New Field of Dreams Ballpark is set to open in June. The announcement comes as the Field of Dreams has a packed summer lineup. In June, eastern Iowa high school baseball teams will break in the Field of Dreams ballpark. In July, The Field of Dreams will host the Northwoods League All-Star Game. Then in August, the MLB will take over the field as the Philadelphia Phillies take on the Minnesota Twins.
