Gas prices in Iowa continue to climb. According to GasBuddy, the statewide average has increased 4-and-a-half cents over the past week to $3.82 a gallon. That’s about 30 cents higher than a month ago and 84 cents more than this time last year. The cheapest reported gas in Iowa was $3.32 a gallon, while the highest was $4.79. Nationally, the average price dipped slightly to $4.05 a gallon, while diesel prices rose more than 7 cents to just over $5.32 a gallon.
